The font (if that term can be applied) that the notes are written in is more difficult to read than most other music instruction books, Voxman's Selected Duets for Saxophone, Vols 1 and 2, for example. The exercises in the Kynaston book look like they were handwritten, they are very dark, and there is little spacing between them.
This is a must for all serious saxophone students.
Very nice book. I purchased this as Texas State University required me to, but the font is so thick which can be a little aggravating at first.
I thought this was a begging rs book learn to playing the practices to up grade there playing. Wromg. You have best know to read complicated musical notes. They are more for the intermediate or pro. My daughter is just a new student and THIS IS NOT FOR A BEGINNER. ..
Great if you're trying to work on scale patterns. I am more of a visual learner so this was perfect for me when visualizing the patterns didn't work.
